As Chairman/CEO of the Dorman Group of Companies, Mr. Dorman has extensive experience in originating, structuring, financing, and acquiring middle market businesses and facilitating strategic initiatives for high growth companies. Currently, he is President of D. J. Dorman & Co., Inc, a private merchant banking firm; Chairman/CEO of Dorman Industries, LLC, a privately owned multi industry holding company; Chairman of Kroll International, LLC, a leading wholesaler of law enforcement, military, and public safety equipment; Founder, President, and Chairman of Midwest Trading, Inc., a recycled metals processing, trading, and logistics company; and Chairman of The John Richard Collection, LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of unique high-end furniture and accessories.

Previously, Mr. Dorman was Founder and former Chairman (sold October 2011) of Versatile Processing Group, Inc., a holding company for various non-ferrous/base metal processing and utility service companies; and former Chairman (sold October 2011) of Dulin Metals Co., a dealer, trader, and broker of non-ferrous metals. Mr. Dorman is a graduate of Ferris State University where he holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Mr. Dorman is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. 

Mr. Dorman joined D. J. Dorman & Co., Inc. (DJD) in the spring of 2000. As Vice President with DJD, Mr. Dorman is involved in all aspects of DJD investments, including identification, evaluation, and analysis of investment opportunities, as well as portfolio management. Mr. Dorman has a successful track record as a proven operator and has primary oversight responsibilities for several controlled portfolio companies. Mr. Dorman is President and a Director of Kroll International, LLC, a wholesaler of law enforcement, military, and public safety equipment; Vice President and a Director of Midwest Metals, Inc., a recycled metals processing, trading, and logistics company; and a Director of the John Richard Collection, LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of unique high-end furniture and accessories. Mr. Dorman is a graduate of the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University. 

Ms. Dorman is the Director of Business Development and participates in all aspects of the firm's activities. Ms. Dorman graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Previously, Ms. Dorman interned in her Family's Investment Office, and is also currently a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Mr. Wightman works with DJD as a special consultant to help with the identification, evaluation, and analysis of investment opportunities. He has an extensive background in financial services, spending the last 14 years working with some of the world's largest and most well-known investment managers, both internally as a client portfolio manager and in a consultative role, helping advise them on Economics, Washington Policy and Investment Strategy. Currently, Mr. Wightman is a Managing Director and Head of European Distribution for Renaissance Macro Research. Previously, he worked at NYL/Mainstay and Lord Abbett. Mr. Wightman is a CFA Charter holder and a graduate of The Florida State University, earning a B.A. in Finance and Real Estate while playing Varsity Basketball.
